All I can say about that book is WOW, at first. Has anyone read it? I felt it was incredibly nerve wrecking, sad, and insightful. But, I am shook up from it a little heartbroken and again it made me nervous. I thought it was heartbreaking and I'm not sure how to recover from it... It brought back memories... And I just wish I could get a handle on it... Did anyone else react the same?! Was it sad to you how do I recover.....from such a heartbreaking story!!? My oldest son is autistic and he runs away. He goes into the neighbor's houses sometimes, other times he runs straight down the road. Once I ran all the way down the road in my nightgown. A sheer nightgown. Running scared is fine. But then you get him and you have to walk back. Slowly. And he was in his underwear. There is a chaffinch in the tree in my garden. He is constantly making a noise every second. Its a single noise and not a song. It is a male chaffinch and will do this noise for hours and hours. Pretty much all day only stopping when he briefly feeds or when the sun goes down. I have three cats, one of which is female. I have a Bengal cat, who is very active and a few years old, and he is constantly attacking my other male, who is very mellow and a little older. However, he does not attack the female. There are scabs all over the older cat's neck and I hear them fighting at least a few times a day. This has been going on for a while, but has gotten worse over time. The older cat never instigates and always minds his own business. My Bengal cat is always the one to start the fight and is almost never injured. I have tried making loud noises like clapping my hands, tried throwing a pillow near them to startle the Bengal, and physically pulling them away from each other. There's never really time for me to grab a spray bottle, and I don't think it would work because the Bengal is pretty nonplussed about nearly everything. The defamation suit is a waste of time. If it were me and I was accused of using PED's, I would be pissed off, but I wouldn't sue anyone. Hello, I'm 15 years old and recently i have started doing press/push ups, Although today i heard that your not suppose to do them everyday. Is my dermal rejecting.?

So I had it done a few months ago and after about a month or so the diamond fell out so my piercer reply the top. And for the longest time the top continued to fall out but I would always put or back on knowing it wasn't tighten well. But it fell out for the last time about a week ago and I had to buy a new top. My son made me look like a moron in front of my kids. How do I recover?

Xbox Netflix Gold Membership Error?

I keep getting an error message on my 360 when watching Netflix. It occurs randomly and says that I need a Gold membership to continue watching Netflix. How to keep my cat out of my daughter's room?

We just recently got a cat a little over a week ago. We are trying to keep him out of my daughter's room because she has her guinea pig in there and he likes to jump on the table where the guinea pig is which scares her guinea pig. I have tried keeping her door shut but that doesn't really work because her door handle is broke and you can just push the door open. Also the cat has already figured that out. When I see him walking towards her room I have tried clapping my hands or making some kind of loud noise but he just turns around and stares at me like I'm crazy lol. I was thinking about getting a baby gate but I figured he could just jump over it. We tried "boundary spray" with out previous cat and that didn't work for her. I know every cat is different but I don't want to waste my money on it if it doesn't work. Anyone have any ideas what I can do?

I am not a great fan of memorizing anything but math facts. That being said, memory skills are important and training your brain to remember things is a good thing to practice. Teachers usually grade fairly leniently on this type of thing by not counting for a missed word or stumbling as long as they know the poem. I mean it's not like they expect a professional theater performance. I firmly believe any child who puts int he time can memorize a poem to achieve at least a B so yes I would be a bit upset if they didn't get at least that.

Discoloration on dogs legs..?

I have a dog that is now 2 years old. And we lived in an area infested with cats and fleas, we moved about a month ago to another flea free home. He is still recovering all the flea bites, he had really bad bites and was really infest with fleas but now his skin looks discolored, like black/burnt color. It is on his back side near the upper thighs and on his private parts. The skin itself is discolored, when I pass my hand to see if it is bruised or if it hurts him but it does not bug him at all. Can anyone suggest what it is and will that discoloration go away with time? I have aloe vera can I keep adding that, if that will help? When he had a lot of them he was soo itchy that he pulled his hairs out just to scratch himself. Now his hairs are growing back nicely. I went to conseling about a year ago and the idiot diagnosed me with Adjustment Disorder which is complete bullshit but the reason he did was because in order to take drug tests I had to have a reason. Did I damage myself from smoking for 45 minutes?

I smoked 2 years ago about half a pack and they were really strong. Today, I smoked a cigar and cigarette in 45 minutes. I tried not to inhale and just held it in my mouth and blew out. I have put several questions of how to lose weight. School got out last week and I've started eating healthy and doing aerobic exercises for 1 1/2 hours. While on vacation in Galveston I came across a stray who decided it would camp on our dock for three days straight. She is very sweet but I think something is wrong with her. Why are my photos blank (Windows Vista)?

I just imported some photos onto my computer today. I could see the photos fine. Then I proceeded to edit my photos in Microsoft Office Picture Manager. I was also running a Norton 360 scan at the same time. When my Norton scan ended, some of my photos were showing up blank/white. I closed Picture Manager without saving and went to see if my photo thumbnails were showing up in my Photos folder. They were still blank so I restarted my computer in hopes of it fixing itself. When my computer restarted, the photos were still coming up blank. I really need these photos and would like to recover them. The files are still there, they just look like I took a picture of a white abyss. My Norton 360 scan cleaned up Windows Temporary Files, and I believe this may have to do with why my photos messed up. Please help.

HELP...How can it be poetry?

This is truly not a hate question and no offense intended. How can people write long extended paragraphs of continuing thought resembling a short story. Then cut them down into many unstructured lines and stanzas. And then present it as a poem. I'm totally shocked and I'm expecting negative feed back. But I would really appreciate it if someone could explain how this can be. There are books that start with the basics of poetry. But other then not reading them how can this be happening.

Is my husband hiding something from me?

My husband works out of town all the time and is not a drinker or smoker. Late 80s or early 90s. Upbeat song with definite percussion, maybe clapping hands. The music video is entirely of this room where everything moves or has some sort of personality and transforms. The most memorable part (I was a kid seeing this) was a cuckoo clock that moved and a bird came out. There also may have been guns, like revolvers shooting. Looks good to me. Don't forget to run a lot and work on cardio (obviously). But you should get a good diet with lots of plant protein (for strong, lean muscle) and other good stuff as well, because that is what fuels you.

Not hungry, but I HAVE to eat...?

A good thing to do would be to make a list of foods you like and eat those more often. That way, when you have to eat, you'll enjoy the calories. If you aren't hungry, but you have to eat, try eating foods that will be good for your body. As long as you know that the foods will benefit your body, not make you fat, you won't mind eating them as much. To gain weight, you could also take up weightlifting. Muscle weighs more than fat, so that will help you gain healthy weight faster. I dont really know of a way to be hungrier, but I suppose you could try making delicious meals that make you want to eat. If you see food that you like, you'll feel hungry, even if in reality you aren't actually that hungry. Basically, you just want the taste. Im glad thay you are recovering from it. I can imagine how hard it must be and I desperately want you to succeed. It is great to know that there are people out there with the willpower to overcome anorexia. If one of the main reasons you dont want to eat is a fear of becoming fat, keep in mind that you burn calories just being awake. You even burn them sleeping. You can definitely gain healthy weight by weightlifting and keep off the unhealthy fat by eating nutritious foods that will help your bones and muscles. Good luck and I hope this helped!

I have a close friend who I have had alot of love, feelings, emotions for over about a 12 year span...who only recently came back into my life becuase she has always dealt with drug addiciton and now has been a year long recovery period clean from Heroin. Right now we are just friends but always with the potential for more. I was wondering where someone like me (who has never done a drug, not even marijuana in their life) can go to get help on being there for her, understand what she is going through, and how to deal with having "more than friends" feelings for her when she is dealing with recovery. I'm an assitant coach with two other coaches. There both very young around 20 to 25 years of age. One of them is engaged and today he brought his fiancee to practice she was not introduced of course as co-workers we know she was the fiancee. But his behavior startled me. There is this girl on the team that seems to have attract especial attention to the engaged coach , he always helps her when she struggles but I've always noticed a connection. No to mention , they have the same likes and I could almost say they are the same person its the scariest thing I've ever seen. Two people of different ages with such similar personalities.Anyways the fiancee sat on the side and watched practice and suddenly we go to this ice breaker where the other assitant coach points out that our co-worker is engaged ! so everyone claps , and I turned to look at this coach he looks down and doesn't say anything not even a smile. Just released from hospital question about dizziness and weakness!?

I'm 32 yes old and have been sick since start of month. Overall I've had a weeks supply of antibiotics and steriods twice and was getting mo better so admitted to hospital where I received oral and iv antibiotics and I got alot better quickly. I had a chest infection that turned nasty! Anyway today I've just been released from hospital and I've 5 more days of 2 lots of antibiotics to take. But since I came home I feel very weak tired and very dizzy when I get up and walk around. Is tat normal?? Will the amount of antibiotics I've taken over last 3 weeks make me feel so weak tired dizzy and sick? How long can I expect to feel like this ?any advice on how to recover better!

Seventh grade problem????!!!?

I'm going into seventh grade and have a problem that may seem stupid if ur older but for me it's a big deal. In fourth grade I was really popular at my school and boys liked me and stuff. In fith grade I was gone most of the year because I had a back surgery and was recovering or at doctors. I wasn't as popular because I was gone. When I came back in sixth ( my grade school is k-6) I was average but kinda popular so I herd. All my friends currently had bf or already have before except me. My guy friends would say they need to hook me up with someone. After surgery I put on some weight cause I had to stop activities and was always stuck inside so I ate snacks. Now I'm going into seventh and I'm losing weight this summer and I just came back from this camp and feel confident about myself plus I'm the richest girl at school and hav been told I'm really pretty but don't think guys would want to date the old me. Trying to get close with my brother again after a trauma that occured thirty years ago?

In 1981, my eight-year-old brother Andrew was kidnapped by a family acquaintance and held hostage for three weeks. During this time, he was routinely beaten and sexually abused by his captor. He was also burned with boiling water and forced to listen while his captor made crank calls to our family pretending to be the police, telling us that Andrew had been found. He was rescued after three weeks. It had taken that long to track him down because his captor had them moving around all the time. It's strange to me how a period of time as short as three weeks could destroy so many lives, and leave so many still broken after thirty years. Andrew's body recovered from the trauma, but his mind never healed. The Andrew that came back to us was not the Andrew we had previously known. Before the trauma, Andrew was very social and outgoing. We were only two years apart and always very close. I never had any other brothers or sisters. He was a sweet little boy with a good sense of humor, and, being an older sister, I teased him constantly. Not meanly, but in a playful way. He is the most ticklish person to ever walk planet Earth, and as a little kid he loved it when I tickled his feet. We wrestled and play-fought and just enjoyed being with each other. When he came back, everything changed. Andrew had always been close to me and my parents also, but after he came back he acted like he couldn't even stand the sight of us. I could never understand that. I thought he should be happy to be back with us, people who loved him. He told me when he was older that I was a stranger to him and that there was a gulf separating him from everyone else. He was resentful that other people hadn't been where he had been. When he first came back and started beng like that, I tried so hard to bring him back. I tickle-attacked him like I used to and even though he squirmed and laughed just the same, he didn't enjoy it at all. He wouldn't wrestle either, and didn't seem to want to be around me at all. He did well in school and never had issues with drugs and alcohol, he's been successful in life and has a wife and kids, but for the past thirty years you can tell that something in him is just gone. Something inside him died all those years ago and, despite this, I still hope so hard that I can bring him back. I still see him and our children play together, but that confidence is gone. He underwent counseling as a child and teen but it didn't help him and he doesn't see anyone anymore. I encourage him to see someone about his depression and the pain he still feels but he says it wouldn't make any difference. I'm sorry this post is so long but I just don't know what to do to help him. He's physically healthy and financially stable, but I want to be close to him again and my parents want the same. Is there anything I can do to bring him back, to make us all just a little closer?

A question about dance?

I dance a lot of different dances and I can always learn movements easily and I can move my body pretty good, but recently I noticed I'm not very good at dancing with the beat. Even if I sometimes do the movements better than the people I'm dancing with, I'm way off beat :S It's weird because I can find rhythm when I'm clapping and stuff like that, but I can't move to the beat? How do I get better at that?

What is up with this cough?

Last week on Sunday night I was recovering from a small cold I had had for only a couple days. That night I developed a semi-dry cough that continued for 4 or 5 days. On the 4th day it became a completely dry cough that was giving me headaches. Thankfully the cough recessed a little and was as severe. This happened on Friday. It is now Tuesday night and I still have the cough but it is getting better at least I think. I want to know what it is I had or still have. I am a 15 year old male and I do not smoke. Also, in the morning when I get out of bed my cough is not dry but gradually dries out as the day proceeds. I don't take any medication and haven't taken anything for the cough. I have only been drinking lots of tea and getting sleep. Please let me know what you think.

I hurt my arm =/ help?

So around friday I noticed a little pain after the gym in my right arm. I was working my biceps and back. It still hurts, I went swimming at the lake sunday and it hurt like hell after my swim. I'm at the pool now and it hurt me during my swim. I don't even want to swim anymore because its bugging me and I don't want to injure myself more. . It feels like its my tricep near my elbow. If I push in, it hurts that area. Did I tear a muscle?? Hurt a bone? Nerve? Or what??? Will I recover quick from this? Anybody here ever been through this mess before? Its my right arm if u didn't catch that.
