Question about what happened today it has to do with rapping?

I started to freestyle today on the corner of my street with some friends and then a bunch of people started to come around towards us, did they come to listen to me freestyle and they started clapping when I was done, my friends told me I should put something on youtube should I? Also they told me that my raps different then most rappers would that be a good thing or a bad thing?
